Service Description
In this hands-on and exciting Chemistry course, students in grades 2 through 5 will explore the wonders of matter and the world of chemical reactions! This course introduces young learners to the basic principles of chemistry through fun experiments and activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Students will learn about the different states of matter (solids, liquids, and gases), how substances change, and how they can mix together to create new substances. With a focus on experimentation and inquiry, students will develop skills in observation, problem-solving, and teamwork while learning about atoms, molecules, and how substances interact. By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of the science of matter and reactions, as well as an excitement for learning about chemistry in the world around them. A student's spot is reserved for the course once payment is made in full, or arrangements have been made for direct billing. Refunds will not be given after the first day of class. In the event a student is waitlisted, Back to Basics will contact the family directly if a spot opens up.
