Chemistry for Middle School
Service Description
Discover the building blocks of the world around you! In this middle school chemistry course, students will explore the basics of matter, energy, and how substances interact. Students will learn about atoms and molecules, the periodic table, and the properties of solids, liquids, and gases. They will investigate how and why chemical reactions occur, and explore concepts such as mixtures, solutions, acids and bases, and changes in matter. Perfect for students who enjoy experimenting, discovering how things work, and exploring the science behind the world around them! A student's spot is reserved for the course once payment is made in full, or arrangements have been made for direct billing. Refunds will not be given after the first day of class. In the event a student is waitlisted, Back to Basics will contact the family directly if a spot opens up.
