Service Description

Step back in time and journey across the American frontier! In this literature course, students will explore the challenges and adventures of westward migration through three exciting novels: Little House in the Prairie, Mr. Tucket, and Seven Alone. Through these stories, students will follow young characters as they travel across prairies, rivers, and mountains in search of new beginnings. They will experience the hardships and hopes of pioneer life, learning about resilience, courage, and determination along the way. Students will build reading comprehension guided discussions, creative activities, and age-appropriate literary analysis. They will explore themes such as family, survival, independence, and perseverance, while also gaining a better understanding of this important period in American history. This course brings history and literature together, helping students connect with the people and experiences of the past in a meaningful and memorable way.
